100% Walkthrough Guide

Welcome to this walkthrough guide for Rockstar's first Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content pack - The Lost and Damned.

Follow the links below in the suggested order to complete the game in the quickest time and finish with 100% complete status, or just find help with a specific mission you're having trouble with.

Note that some sets of missions occur in a random order, so they may not always be available in the order suggested below.

CLEAN AND SERENE

After the initial cutscene follow the GPS route on the map back to your clubhouse. Then after the next cutscene ride to the chop shop to pick up Billy's bike, then ride to the Angels of Death hideout and shoot the gang members. Pick up the ammo each gang member drops as you work your way around the cars. Once all gang members are dead get back on your bike and follow the rest of your gang back to the clubhouse.

While you're at the clubhouse go inside and upstairs to the arm-wrestling activity. You need to win a match to count towards your 100% complete status. Just walk up to the guys at the table and follow the on-screen instructions.

Now head back outside and ride over to Jimmy.

LIBERTY CITY CHOPPERS

Ride across town and get in Jimmy's pickup truck, then drive to the Angels of Death clubhouse. Put the first two bikes on the truck then use your phone to call Terry for backup. When your backup arrives work your way around the parking lot taking out the gang members. Once all gang members are dead do a quick sweep round to pick up the discarded ammo then put the rest of the bikes on the trucks and drive back to Jimmy's while avoiding the chasing bikes.

BAD COP DROP

Race Jimmy to the cops then lure them to the ambush. Don't get too far ahead of the cops or you'll lose them. Once at the ambush park the bike safely behind a crate then use the crates as cover while you take out the numerous cops that show up. You'll probably need to run to a few places of cover to get closer to the targets. Once all cops are dead pick up the ammo lying around then get back on your bike and lose the cops. If you're low on health it might be safer to use one of the cops' cars to get away in.

ANGELS IN AMERICA

Head to the clubhouse to start this mission. Get on your bike and do driveby shootings on the fleeing Angels, then follow the GPS route back to Billy to finish.

IT'S WAR

Follow Billy to the first Angels of Death gang and work your way around the courtyard taking out all targets. There's a health pickup in the middle of the courtyard here if you need it. Once the courtyard is clear follow Billy to the second group and take out everyone there. There is a body armor pickup inside the building where a few of the gang members are firing from and a health pickup on the ground a little way out from the building.

RACE 1: ALDERNEY INDUSTRIAL

Head north-east to the first of 12 races you need to win to count towards your 100% completion. This one has lots of tight corners, so it's quite tricky to start with until you get to know the route a little. As a rough rule of thumb if you have a 90-degree turn or tighter and you're doing a fair speed a handbrake turn will give you a better chance to gain a lead than just braking for the turn. Less than 90-degree turns can usually be taken without the need to brake at all, just ease off the acceleration if you find yourself going too wide.

ACTION/REACTION

Head to the clubhouse for this one. Follow Billy to the Angels of Death clubhouse. Initially this is a fairly slow convoy, but once you hit the highway you'll be able to race the others to the destination.

Use the grenade launcher Billy gives you to fire a grenade into the AOD clubhouse, then switch to your weapon of choice to take out the numerous gang members that come out. Once you've cleared the outside area sweep for ammo then head through the front doors of the clubhouse. Take cover behind the door next to Billy and take out the targets inside the bar, then go in and take out the last few men in this room, including the barman behind the bar. There's a health pickup behind the bar too if you need it. Take cover behind the next door and clear the hallway, be careful not to get too close to the guy that gets set on fire, you're not fireproof! Now head down into the basement gym and clear out the last few men here. After the end cutscene head back out to your bike and ride clear of the clubhouse to finish the mission.

RACE 2: PARK CIRCUIT

Head north-east to the next race icon on the map. Like the last one this track has lots of tight corners, but it's even trickier because there are also lots of straights, so you're hitting tight corners at speed. It's even more important therefore to get to know the route well and slow down a little at tight corners.

BUYER'S MARKET

You should very soon get a text message from Billy about going to see Liz Torrez, but before you head over there call Terry to come out with his gun van so you can buy some body armor, because this is a tough mission. After the cutscene ride over to Brian to pick up the package, then ride over to the apartment where the deal is going down and go up to the third floor. After the cutscene you'll be under fire from several heavily armored SWAT team members, take these out from your cover then carefully work your way out into the hallway and down the stairs. There are gunmen around every turn, so it helps to know where they're going to come from, so it may take a few attempts before you get this mission done. On the first floor shoot out the window and take out the cops outside before going down to the ground floor to clear the last of the gunmen inside. Run through the door and get into the cop car outside as quickly as possible to avoid the last few cops outside. Now all you have to do is lose the cops you end this very intense mission.

POLITICS

Having body armor makes this mission much easier. Ride down to the airport but stop just outside the gates when you see the message about the helicopter landing and turn your bike facing away from the gates ready for a quick getaway. Fire a rocket at the helicopter as it lands and as soon as it blows up get back on your bike and tear out of the area onto the highway and lose the cops.

COMING DOWN

Shortly after the end of the Politics mission you'll get a call from your ex-girlfriend Ashley, who needs help with her drug-addict associates. Before you head over there call Terry for body armor and if you need it there's plenty of food vendors in Middle Park to top up your health. Follow the GPS route to Ashley then walk up to the first apartment. Take out the first two guys here then head out into the corridor and take out the guys outside the next apartment. Crouch down as you go into the apartment then quickly take out the guys inside. Once the apartment is clear take Ashley home.

RACE 3: ALDERNEY CITY

You'll soon get a call from Jim about doing gang war side missions, but you're closer to the next racing side mission, so head north to that one first. This is a relatively easy course, with lots of twist and turns, but with one exception - none of them are taken at any great speed so as long as you don't miss any turns you shouldn't have too much of a problem navigating the course. The other bikers also seem to have a harder time coping with the numerous turns, so it shouldn't be long before you win this one.

GANG WAR 1

Now you'll receive another call from Jim about doing bike theft side missions, but that can wait for a while. Call Terry and get more body armor then head to the gang war side mission icon.

These missions all fall into one of three types. In the first type you have to chase after AOD bikers or a few car loads of AOD gang members, then as soon as you shoot one of the cars/bikes they'll all pull over and engage you in a shoot-out. In the second type when you get to the location shown on the map you must kill the AOD gang members spread around the area. You win these first two types of mission when the last target dies. A few of your last targets may make a run for it, so you may have to do some chasing around to finish the mission. For the third type of mission you just have to chase down a truck and do a driveby shooting on it until it blows up.

OFF ROUTE

Go down to the transport bus location and break through the barriers into the station yard. Run quickly to get on the bus then drive clear of the area and onto the highway, as this is the only place you'll have enough of a straight run to get enough speed up to lose the cops. Once you've lost the cops drive to the drop off point.

BIKE THEFTS

Use your phone to call Angus for each job. The exact mission you'll get is random, but they are all listed below.

BIKE THEFT 1: EX-DISPLAY

Steal the bike from the showroom and ride straight ahead, smashing through the window. Lose the cops then drop the bike off at the clubhouse.

STUBBS JOBS

Use your phone to call Stubbs for each job. As with the bike thefts, the exact mission you'll get is random, but they are all listed below.

STUBBS: WHEN THE BLUE CHIPS ARE DOWN

Make sure you have body armor before you head to this one. There's one in an alleyway off the road directly south of the clubhouse, near a cop car parked on the corner. Take out the FIB agents guarding the alleyway then walk up to the CEO, untie her then get in the car and race clear of the area. Drive quickly to the helipad, as you'll be being chased by cops and yet more FIB agents with serious firepower. When you get to the helipad get out and protect the woman as she gets onto the helicopter.

RACE 4: TUDOR DOCKS

Head to this race icon near the clubhouse. This circuit is quite tricky, with several tight turns, lots of obstacles and the danger of falling into water in some places. Shortly after the start of the race there is a dumpster ramp on the left side of the road, jump this angling to the left and you should land fairly close to the next checkpoint, a nice shortcut if you manage to take the jump at the correct angle.

STUBBS: KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU

From the point you pick up the car you'll have a limited amount of time to get it back, so drive as quickly as possible to the bugging expert. It doesn't matter if you damage the car on the way down, as it'll be repaired for you when you get there, but you mustn't damage it on the way back or you'll fail the mission. You may get away with minor knocks on the way back, but drive carefully (but not too slowly) to avoid any collisions. Once you've dropped the car back in the same position as you took it leave the area quickly to complete the mission.

RACE 5: ALDERNEY CASINO

Head north to this race icon. This is a fairly tough race, but you can gain an easy lead on the first few turns by cutting the corner early, this also avoids the risk getting hit by the other riders. When you reach the beach slow right down for the first turn because you can't turn very well on sand. Ease off for the next turn as well then you'll start to head back up to easier roads again.

BIKE THEFT 2: A RIDE IN THE PARK

When you get to the bike the easiest thing to do, callous as it may sound, is to immediately shoot the rider and passenger, then take the bike, lose the cops and drop off at the clubhouse.

THIS SHIT'S CURSED

Follow Billy to the deal, eventually when you hit the highway you can speed things up with a race. Once the deal goes bad work you're way around the building taking out all Triad gang members in your way. There's a few health pickups along the way if you need them, but if you have body armor this hopefully shouldn't be a problem. Once you get out of the building get back to your bike and ride back to the clubhouse.

GANG WAR 2

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

RACE 6: NORTH WEST ALDERNEY

This course has a few sudden off-road diversions, so getting to know the course well will help you win this one. Cut the first corner early to gain a quick lead, hand-brake turn the fast 90-degree corners and you should be first across the line in no time.

GANG WAR 3

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BIKE THEFT 3: ZORST FUMES

When you get to the bike on the freeway you'll find it's being escorted by a car and three other bikes. Driveby shoot the other bikes and the target bike then quickly take the bike back to the clubhouse.

STUBBS: PHONE HO'

A nice easy mission for a change. Drive to the marked location then a little further down the ally climb the low wall and then the dumpster to the roof. Now climb to the marker on the higher roof and get your phone ready to take a picture. Select 'camera' from the phone's menu and look down at the street below. Eventually the red Cognoscenti will pull up and a prostitute will walk over to talk to the driver. Take the picture when the hooker is at the driver's window, then send the picture to Stubbs. Shortly afterwards you'll complete the mission and call Stubbs.

GANG WAR 4

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

HIT THE PIPE

Taking out the vans with pipe bombs is pretty hard work, but fortunately you can use any weapon you like, so the easiest option is your shotgun to blast the vans off the road.

RACE 7: ALDERNEY BEACH

This is quite a tough race. Swing your bat to the left as soon as you start before the rider hits you, then be very careful of the turns on the beach, you'll fail if your bike goes too far into the water. Press forward if the front of your bike rises too high as you jump the sand dune on the beach so you can land safely. Not long after you get off the beach there is a dumpster ramp right before a turn, if you can hit the ramp at enough speed it's a useful shortcut. Handbrake turn the final 90-degree turn back onto the beach.

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BIKE THEFT 4: SHORT STAY PARKING

Take the NRG-900 from the car park, lose the cops, then drop the bike off at the clubhouse.

GANG WAR 6

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

STUBBS: COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN

Get to the contact before the time shown, then chase his car and driveby shoot it. A few shotgun blasts should do the trick.

RANDOM CHARACTER: DAVE GROSSMAN

A little to the south from where you end up in the last Stubbs mission is a one-off mission for Dave Grossman, the lawyer you met earlier at the clubhouse with Billy. Walk up to Dave to start the mission, then after the cutscene jump on your bike and chase down the lawyer. Don't use your shotgun to driveby shoot as you'll probably end up killing him before he gives up, use a machine gun to shoot the car enough that he stops to talk to you and you complete the mission.

GANG WAR 7

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

RACE 8: HOLLAND PARK

Swing your bat to the left as soon as you start before the rider hits you, then cut the first few corners early to gain the lead. After this just handbrake turn the few 90-degree turns and ease off on the others and you should manage to keep the lead fairly easily.

BIKE THEFT 5: TAKE OUT LIQUOR

Head over to the liquor store shown on the radar and take the bike. If you ride off immediately the gang members surrounding the bike won't quite be able to catch you in time, but if they do catch you you'll need to run away a little so you can get enough distance to shoot them. Lose any cop interest you may have then take the bike back to the clubhouse.

GANG WAR 8

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

HEAVY TOLL

Drive down to the toll booths, then after the cutscene wait for the first car to pass through the barriers, then open fire on the passengers in the next car once it pulls up at the booth. One or two shots should be enough to take out everyone in the car, then come out of cover and run behind the booth and take cover again. Now work your way around the area taking out the numerous gang members. There's a seagull on the concrete post by the booth here, you need to shoot 50 of these to count towards your 100% completion rating. You can either take it out now or come back for it later. Once all targets around the van are dead get in the van, wait for Malc to get in, lose the cops, then drive the van to the lockup on the radar.

GANG WAR 9

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BIKE THEFT 6: GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE

When you get to the marker you'll find three bikers cruising around, take out all three, then take the bike, lose the cops, then ride back to the clubhouse.

STUBBS: FIRST IMPRESSIONS

You'll need body armor for this one. Go to the SuperStar Cafe and take out the target. As soon as you aim at the target his body guards will open fire on you, so kill him quickly then run back out to your vehicle and get clear of the area.

GANG WAR 10

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

END OF CHAPTER

Ride to the meet, then after the cutscene take out the targets riding around in the circle. Once these guys are all dead more van loads of Brian's gang will turn up, firstly watch out for the vans, they will drive straight at you, then several gang members will pile out of the vans. After this yet more will turn up on bikes, when these are all cleared you'll have to chase down and driveby shoot the last of Brian's gang

GANG WAR 11

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BIKE THEFT 7: DELIVERY BOY'S HARDSHIP

When you get to the biker, shoot him off the bike, take the bike, lose the cops, then drop the bike off at the clubhouse.

RACE 9: SCHOTTLER STATION

This race is particularly tricky until you get to know the course. There is no real opportunity to take an early lead in this race, and the course it at it's trickiest at the very start, so just hand back from the rest until you hit the highway towards the final stretch of the course when you can really get some speed up in relative safety. Handbrake turn as you reach the turn off the highway at Burger Shot and head back to the startline for the next lap. Ease off the accelerator for the numerous turns around the station area then again open up for the highway stretch. Repeat this for the third and final lap and hopefully you'll be in first place for the finish.

GANG WAR 12

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

MARTA FULL OF GRACE

Top up on health and body armor before you head over to Elizabeta for this one. After the opening cutscene call Terry or Clay for backup then head down to the airport. When you pick up Marta you'll need to take out all the police shown on the radar before you can escape. Once the cops are dead go back for Marta and get in the nearby car. Now push your way past the oncoming cop cars and head on out onto the freeway. Eventually you should get enough speed up to outrun the cops and lose your wanted level, just stay on the freeway and try not to hit anything. Once the cops are gone take Marta back to Elizabeta's to finish the mission.

RACE 10: BOHAN STEPS

This one's not too bad once you know what's coming up. There's a hairpin turn not long into the race, you can take an early lead here by cutting off to the right just before the turn, going down the steps to the next checkpoint. Ease off the gas on the turns on the freeway, especially the last one after the fast straight along the cliff edge.

GANG WAR 13

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BIKE THEFT 8: TATTOO PARLOR LAMENT

Nice easy one. Go to the tattoo parlor, take the bike, drop it off at the clubhouse. The guy cleaning the bike shouldn't put up any resistance.

GANG WAR 14

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BAD STANDING

Head over to Jim to start this mission. After the cutscene ride down to Brian's house, then if you want to take the easier option follow Jim's text message advice and call Clay or Terry for backup, otherwise you'll need to work your way through the house taking out several of Brian's men from behind cover. Assuming you called for backup, launch a grenade or pipe bomb into the window then grab your bike and get close to the street corner. Brian and a few of his men will come rushing out. If you're lucky you can shoot Brian before he gets too far away, otherwise you'll have to chase him and gun him down.

GANG WAR 15

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BIKE THEFT 9: BEACHCOMBER

Ride down to Firefly island, shoot the rider, take his bike back to the clubhouse.

GANG WAR 16

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

SHIFTING WEIGHT

Head over to Liz to start this one. After the cutscene ride to the meet, then after the deal goes bad you're riding on the back of Malc's bike and must take out the cops chasing you. Initially concentrate taking out the cop cars behind you, then the helicopter above as you cross the first bridge. Once the chopper goes down go back to taking out cars behind you until Malc calls out about the police van in front, take this out quickly because there are cops with heavy fire shooting out of the van at you. When the van is taken out switch back to the cars behind you until Malc rides through a gas station, aim at the pumps here for a dramatic explosion. Shortly after the gas station there's another police van ahead to take care of, then you'll get boxed in by road block. Shoot out the window of the car showroom next to you so Malc can ride through it. At this point autosave kicks in, so if you fail after this point you don't have to start right back at the beginning, you'll start at the car showroom again. Shortly after this Malc will cut over a pedestrian bridge and onto the freeway where there's another road block, take out the helicopter above then Malc will ride into the tunnel and give you pipe bombs to blow up the police cars with. Once the last of the cars is dealt with Malc will pull up and you're finally done.

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

BIKE THEFT 10: STRIPCLUB HOG

Ride down to the strip club, shoot the bouncer and stripper standing by the bike, then take the bike back to the clubhouse.

GANG WAR 18

Head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

ROMAN'S HOLIDAY

Head over to Ashley's apartment to start this mission. After the cutscene ride over to pick up Malc then drive his car over to pick up Roman. If you ever have to stop the car Roman will try to make a run for it. If he does get out of the car and chase him. Just aim your gun at him (don't actually shoot him!) and he'll give up and go back to the car. Now just drop Roman off at the warehouse to finish the mission.

RACE 11: BOHAN STRIP

Head to the nearest race icon after you drop Roman off. This race is pretty tough, with lots of twisty turns, traffic and riders that keep up pretty well. Swing your bat left as you start to deal with the rider next to you before he hits you. Ease off on the drop down the steps after the first few corners as there are a few tight turns to negotiate around here. In general you should be able to take most corners by just easing off the gas a little, until you reach the first corner of the next lap after the long straight, take this one with a handbrake turn to kill your speed quickly.

GANG WAR 19

Top up on health and body armor if necessary then head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH

Head over to Ray's place to start this one. Meet up with the rest of your gang then ride over to the docks. After the cutscene you have to driveby shoot two cars. If Tony manages to get out of the second car before it explodes, kill him, then pick up the diamonds. Lose the cops if you have any on your tail, then Ray will tell you to drop the diamonds in two different trash piles. Drop these off and this mission is finally over, but shortly afterwards Ray will call and you go straight into the next mission, so top up on health before he calls... you may need it. Don't worry about body armor, there's one at the next location.

COLLECTOR'S ITEM

Head up to the north entrance of the Libertonian and go through the door to the security entrance. There's body armor on the desk here if you need it. Go on through to the goods entrance to meet Niko. After the exchange goes bad work your way through the museum back to the ground floor and out the door you came in. Once outside you'll find Ray's guys have turned on you. Take out Ray's guys then get in one of their cars and chase down the last two cars trying to flee. Once both cars are destroyed head over to Jimmy to drop off the money and end the mission.

RACE 12: BOHAN BEACH

Head over to Bohan to the final race icon. Swing your bat left as you start to deal with the rider next to you before he hits you. There's a ramp against the wall in front of the beach, but don't use it, it's so steep it's quicker to just go around it than try to jump it. As always taking corners on the sand sucks, ease off the gas for turns on sand. Handbrake turn as you get to the tight turn towards the dirt track back up to the freeway. Once you cross over the freeway take the slight turns at speed, but slam on the brakes as you get to the bridge for the next lap, as you'll lose valuable time if you shoot past the bridge because you're still going too fast.

GANG WAR 20

Top up on health and body armor if necessary then head to the nearest gang war icon and complete the mission.

WAS IT WORTH IT?

Head over to Ray's place to start this one. After the cutscene head over to pick up Ashley, but when you get close four car loads of Ray's men will come after you. Lead the nearest car to the corner south of the clubhouse where the body armor pickup is and pick off the goons. Grab the body armor if you need it then go to the next car, lead them back to the same corner again and take them out. Repeat for the third car, then head up to the last car near the clubhouse and take this group out.

GANG WARS 21-22

Top up on health and body armor if necessary then head to the nearest gang war icons and complete two sets of missions.

RANDOM CHARACTER: MALC

You'll need to be on a bike in good condition for this one. Head up to the little 'i' icon in northern Algonquin and walk up to Malc to start. Follow Malc to pick up DeSean, then follow DeSean and kill the bikers.

GANG WARS 23-24

Top up on health and body armor if necessary then head to the nearest gang war icons and complete two sets of missions.

RANDOM CHARACTER: MALC 2

You'll need to be on a bike for this one. Head back to the 'i' icon in northern Algonquin and walk up to Malc to start. Follow Malc to the race start line. This is the same Race Park Circuit you did earlier, one of the hardest races, but fortunately you don't have to win it to complete the mission.

GANG WAR 25

Top up on health and body armor if necessary then head to the nearest gang war icon and complete this final gang war mission.

GET LOST

Head to the clubhouse for the final mission. Ride down to the prison, then when the rest of your gang arrive go to Terry's van and load up on as much ammo as you can get since it's all free for once. Make sure you get body armour and a full stock of your choice of high powered automatic weapon. Blow up the doors with a grenade, pipe bomb or other explosive, then work your way around the prison yard taking out all the guards along the way. When you get to the central courtyard huge numbers of guards will swarm in, but fortunately you have cover, so just pick off targets quickly from cover. There's a body armor pickup against the wall in front of you which you can go for once you've cleared enough guards. Go over to Billy and shoot him with a pistol to trigger the execution, then go back into the courtyard, get on your bike and follow the others out of the prison. Now just lead the gang back to the clubhouse to end the mission.

TERRY AND CLAY

You need to call Terry OR Clay and take them out on the following activities:

Air Hockey (you need to win a game)
Darts (you need to win a game)
Pool (you need to win a game)
Drinking
Eating
