AIR RESCUE

Get in the helicopter on the roof of the downtown hospital near the Ammunation store, or the ground level helipad behind the hospital by the southern-most bridge on the Ocean Beach side.

This mission takes some time. You have to complete 15 levels, but fortunately your progress is saved after you complete level 5 and 10, so you can come back to the level later if you need to.

Use your map to plan the best order of pick-ups. Always go for the nearest patient first and the nearest patient to a hospital last. Be careful not to crash into anything. It's all too easy to drift into trees as you come down for a pickup. It's not generally worth dropping off patients between pickups, you don't get any extra time for it, you just lose vital seconds navigating to the pad. You never need to pick up more than four patients anyway, which you can carry all at once.

Once you complete all 15 levels your maximum health is increased 50%, which will come in handy for future missions.

Press the up key to cancel the mission then land the helicopter behind Business #4 for the next side mission.
