LANCE VANCE 1: Jive Drive

This is quite a tough mission, so it may take a few attempts to learn the right approach. Make sure you have full health and armour before you start, you're going to need them.

Drive to the airport and step into the marker. The cut scene shows your vehicle has miraculously turned into a red sports car, regardless of what car you actually turned up in, but never mind!

After Lance appears some Cholos will turn up and threaten you. Lance will then drive you around while you shoot the Cholos. Your car must survive the onslaught of bullets. Aiming the crosshairs of your gun at the moving cars is quite tricky, but fortunately you don't need to kill everyone. It may also help to change the control settings to turn off invert look so that your up/down goes up/down instead of the more confusing down/up. It helps to know where the cars will come from too, so you'll get better with practice.

Eventually Lance will jump the car into a parking lot where you'll get out, but there are still numerous Cholos to kill. Start with the gang straight ahead of you, then to your left, but be careful not to shoot Lance if he's in the way. Now turn around and kill the gang behind you.

Once the gang members are all dead you need to take a car and get Lance to his hotel downtown, but beware of any cops that may pull you out of the car, as you'll have a two-star wanted level by now. The AI on Lance sucks, so try to get straight into the driver's seat of the car in front of you, otherwise you may find it incredibly frustrating to see Lance blunder around the car, unable to get to the passenger door while the cops close in.

Take a detour to the Pay 'n' Spray to clear your wanted level and the final drive to the hotel will be stress free. Phew!
