Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
100% Walkthrough Guide

TURISMO: Part 1

Race 1: Escobar Run-way
Entry Cost: $100
Prize: $500

You'll need a motorbike for this race. You can either wander around the streets until you find a PCJ-600 motorbike, or you can pick one up from the locations shown on the vehicle location map. There's a couple of them downtown, although the one behind the police station will start another side mission which you might want to skip until later on. The one at the eastern end of Starfish Island is probably easiest to get. Once you have the bike take it to the start line shown on the map. As with all the street races it helps to know the course layout, but some general tips would be:

1. Don't accelerate on corners

2. Brake on tight corners

3. Try not to hit anything

If you follow these principles it shouldn't be too long before you win the race. Once you do, park the bike in your garage at your safehouse and save your game.

We'll now do the other two motorbike races at Sunshine Autos.

Race 3: Port Sports
Entry Cost: $200
Prize: $800

Take your motorbike back to Sunshine Autos and select the third race, as the second race is a car race. We'll come back to these shortly. Head to the start line just down the street. Follow the same principles as the previous race. There are some very tight corners on this course and plenty of traffic that could pull out on you at any second. When you win be sure to park your bike back in the garage and save your game again before the next bike race.

Race 5: Cuban Wheels
Entry Cost: $300
Prize: $1200

Take your bike back to Sunshine Autos and select the fifth race. Head for the start line. This race is difficult due to the many tight corners and traffic obstructing your path, but if you keep to the basic strategy described earlier and don't accelerate around corners, brake on sharp corners and slow down to avoid oncoming traffic, you should be able to win the race.

Race 2: Downtown
Entry Cost: $150
Prize: $600

Take your PCJ-600 to Starfish Island and pick up the Infernus parked in the driveway of the mansion in the north-east corner of the island, as shown on the vehicle location map. Take the Infernus to the start line. There are numerous sharp turns on this course, so use your brakes wisely, but open it up at any chance you get. Once you win take the car back to your garage and save your game before the last of the Sunshine Autos races.

Race 4: Rum & Salsa Run
Entry Cost: $300
Prize: $1000

Take the Infernus back to Sunshine Autos and select the fourth race. Head to the start line. This track has some tight corners, but not as many as the previous race, so you should find this race easier to win than the last. Once you've completed this last race save your game and we'll return to Louise's missions.
