Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
100% Walkthrough Guide: Woozie Missions

WU ZI MU

This is a fairly easy race, the other drivers are quite slow.

You should be able to cut in and take an early lead, then just take it easy on the turns. Be careful at the top of hills, often the track changes direction on the other side. Even if you drive quite slowly and brake a lot you should still be able to comfortably win the race. You may need a few tries to get to know the track though.

MOUNTAIN CLOUD BOYS

Head over to Woozie's place in Chinatown to start this one.

Optional:

Snapshot #23: Before you get to the first marker stop at the junction on the northwest corner of the block. The snapshot is of the decorative chinese archway covering the junction.

Once you've dropped Woozie off you'll need to shoot your way out again. Don't forget to crouch and shoot the gas tank of the car to take out mobs faster. Take out more mobs around the corner and beware of the sniper on the roof.

Once the alleyway is clear you'll be in control of the getaway car. Drive slow and let Woozie driveby shoot the other cars, just don't get too close as they explode.

Drop Woozie off once the cars are gone to finish the mission.

RAN FA LI

Optional:

Snapshot #24: Take a slight detour on your journey to the first marker to the block just southwest of Woozie's. There's a big chimney on the northwest corner of the block you need to take a snap of.

Drive to the marker at the airport and get in the car there. Drive the car to the next marker, ignoring the cars and bikes chasing you. Go around the edge of the roadblocks to do the least damage to the vehicle. You should be able to get back without taking too much damage.

Snapshot #25: From where you drop the car off run west to the far pier that sticks out diagonally. The snap is of the submarine docked by the pier.

LURE

Head back to Woozie's place to start this one.

Take the car out to the marker way out in the countryside. Once you get there drive through the markers, but don't go too fast and lose control, crashing is almost guaranteed to end in you failing the mission here.

Once you get back onto the highway the guys chasing you won't be able to keep up and you're not likely to take much more damage unless you crash. Once you reach the gas station you're done.

Optional:

Snapshot #26: Drive back into San Fierro, but before you save your game stop off at the business park just south of the stadium and west of the highway coming into San Fierro before the airport. On the eastern edge of this complex is a covered walkway area. The snap is near the northern end of this walkway.

Snapshot #27: Drive west up the steep winding roads to the top of Missionary Hill. There is a snap about halfway up the radio tower here.

AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT

Unless you've already been working on getting your lung capacity stats up you'll get a cutscene aimed at making you do so when you start this mission at Woozie's place, so head to any coastline and jump in.

Dive under the water (left-mouse button or Num-0 for PC users) and stay there until your 'breath' indicator bar shown at the top right almost runs out, come up again for air, wait for the bar to refill, then dive back down and repeat until your lung capacity stat gets to at least halfway. This will take a fair amount of time, so it's worth running through a few more tips here.

When you dive down swim further down, since you will naturally drift back up to the surface over time, so it makes sense to dive down far enough that your drift up for more air will take roughly long enough for your 'air bar' to nearly run out. When you first dive in don't go down using more than three arm strokes or you will run out of air before you drift back to the surface and you will start drowning.

As you gain lung capacity you can slowly increase the depth you dive to. By the time you get to roughly 25% lung capacity you can safely go down four arm strokes, and by the time you near 50% five strokes will be fine. Stop once you get to 50%, it's the minimum you'll need for the mission and possibly the maximum your patience can take since it does become a tedious task quite quickly.

Make sure you save your game before you go any further. If you die now you will lose all the lung capacity you worked up and will have to do it all again to be able to take the mission.

Head back to Woozie's place between 8pm and 6am to start the mission. This time you get a cutscene instructing you to plant a bug on a ship moored off the docks to the north. Head over there and step into the marker to start your approach to the ship. Swim through the markers, diving down when necessary. The final underwater tunnel will take a while to swim through, which is why you need at least 50% lung capacity to be able to do this mission without risk of drowning.

Once you resurface watch the cutscene. You now can't swim on the surface of the water or you'll be spotted and shot at, you can only move while underwater. Treading water while resurfaced for air is safe unless you get caught in one of the spotlights, but that shouldn't be a problem if you keep an eye on the radar for the spotlights' circles. Make your way underwater past the patrol boats and to the marker at the far side of the ship.

Optional:

Oyster #1: Hidden underwater along the coastline around the whole map are 50 oysters which must all be collected to count towards your 100% completion stat. There is one right in your path to the ship, so if you're intent on getting the 100% completion stat and want to save as much time as possible make sure you pick this one up during the mission.

When you reach the marker at the boat use the stairs to get on board. Switch to any melee weapon, crouch and sneak up behind each guard and stealth kill them.

Climb the crates and head towards the front of the ship, stealth killing all other guards on deck. At the front of the ship there's one more guard, then go through the door. Follow the stairs down, kill the two guards here, then step into the marker and plant the bug. Now head back the way you came to get off the ship and back to the docks. You can shoot out the search lights with a silenced pistol if you have one, but it's not that important.

Swim underwater to avoid the patrol boats and searchlights until you get back to the docks. If you're spotted just swim fast on the surface.

Snapshot #28: From where you get out of the water at the end of the mission go northwest to the wide pier. Look east over the pier rails and take a snap of the rock pillar here.

Snapshot #29: Facing the road just to the southwest is a big sign for the entrance to 'Pier 69'. Snap this sign close up.

THE DA NANG THANG

Save your game before heading back to Woozie for this mission.

You start off in a helicopter manning a minigun. Shoot the guys on the ship with it. You'll make it almost once around the ship before being shot down. Sadly you'll lose all weapons except your knife.

Swim to the marker to climb aboard.

Sneak kill the first guard and pick up his shotgun, climb the crates and shoot the guy facing away from you once you're close enough for the shotgun to one-shot him. Head to the middle of the ship, climbing over and dropping from containers and killing guards along the way to the cargo hold.

Drop into the cargo hold and work your way around the crates, taking out the guards here as before. Just before you get to the refugees' container a guard will throw a grenade at you - run! Kill the guard once the grenade explodes then shoot the padlock to free the refugees. You'll get most of your health back now.

Head back the way you came and up towards the bridge. Jump across the railings and up the stairs. Kill the guards on the way to the top. The Snakehead boss will throw you a sword to do battle. Kill him with it then head back the way you came to the cargo hold entrance where the refugees are waiting.

Optional:

Oyster #2: Under the western end of the ship.

Oyster #3: On the sea bed next to the southwest corner of the support pillar of the nearby bridge, the nearest one to the San Fierro shore.

Grab another camera from the station opposite your garage and save your game before the next mission.

Next: T-Bone Mendez

TORENO'S LAST FLIGHT

Start this mission at your garage.

Head to the marker. A rocket will be fired at you as you approach, but it'll miss. Get out and kill the mobs that come at you and those along the way to the helipad.

Crouch down as you head up the stairs to the helipad, it's difficult to target the guys on the helipad when they're above you and they're firing heavy duty ammo at you.

Pick up the rockets from the helipad then head back down, grab a vehicle and go after the helicopter.

Drive along the freeway until you're a fair distance in front of the helicopter. Get out, switch to your rocket launcher and take down the helicopter as it approaches. This is quite tricky, if you miss you'll have a brief opportunity to fire at the helicopter as it remains stationary at the junction at the end of the freeway for a few seconds.

YAY KA BOOM BOOM

Start this mission at your garage.

Optional:

Snapshot #39: On the way to the first marker stop at the top of the steep hill by the church near the tunnel to the west. The snapshot is of the buildings above the tunnel entrance.

Head to the marker to pick up the bomb-rigged car. Don't worry about driving carefully, despite having a bomb attached it won't explode if you crash.

Snapshot #40: Take the first left turn after picking the car up and drive down to the junction. The snap is of the clock face on the clocktower on top of the big building across the street.

Stop outside the crackhouse compound near your garage and shoot the guys by the entrance.

Get back in the car and drive through the compound to the marker, running over anyone who gets in your way.

Jump the ramp into the crackhouse and drive carefully around the corners to the marker.

Follow the instructions to arm the bomb then get out and run. Don't be tempted to stop and kill the guys shooting at you, there's not enough time.

Run to the next marker, up the ramp and drop down and get in the car by the entrance gate. The gate shuts so you need to drive back around to the ramp and use it to jump over the wall into the street beyond.

Once out of the compound drive back to your garage to finish the mission.

You'll now get a couple of calls, one opening up the first mission in the desert, the other from Jethro at your garage about stealing cars for profit. You won't get this call unless you've already done the Driving School missions however.

Head up the road and buy Wang Cars for $50,000. If you don't have enough cash go and do some more of the Side Missions.

You can now start doing the final set of missions in San Fierro.

FENDER KETCHUP

Start this mission from Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas. Turn left as you enter the casino towards the yellow triads icon on the radar.

Your mission is to scare the guy tied to the car into giving you information. To do this you need to drive fast and recklessly, but without killing him with a head on collision.

The easiest way to do this mission is to drive to the airport, go in through the gates then speed back and forth along the runway doing handbrake turns.

Once the guy gives up the name of his mafia family drive him back to the casino.

EXPLOSIVE SITUATION

This mission starts from Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas. Turn left as you enter the casino towards the yellow triads icon on the radar.

Drive to the marker.

Optional:

Horseshoe #1: Stop off on the way to the quarry for the first of 50 horseshoes you need to collect. This one is on the middle of the circular gardened area just east of the quarry by the freeway.

You have just over two minutes to get to the bottom of the quarry, grab the big dumper truck, run over the explosive containers and grab all four explosives.

Grab a vehicle and just drive it off the edge to the bottom of the quarry to save time.

Get in the dumper and drive over all four explosives containers to crack them open. Get out and run around to collect all the explosives.

Get on the Sanchez motorbike and follow the arrows to safety. Go up the first hill then jump from the dirt mound onto the conveyor belt. Ride along and drop onto the next roof. Drive up the next belt to the top, kill the worker then make your way up the stairs and up the next belt. Go right and past the hole, then ride up the next belt. You'll need a bit of speed to jump. Speed up the next ramp to jump the gap, then head south and kill the two guards by the truck. Head through the final checkpoint.

Once you're out of the quarry follow the dirt track, jump over the fence and make your way back to the drop off marker.

YOU'VE HAD YOUR CHIPS

This mission starts from Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas. Turn left as you enter the casino towards the yellow triads icon on the radar.

Optional: On the way to the first marker stop off for a couple of horseshoes.

Horseshoe #2: This one's near the northeast corner of a building a short way southwest of the marker, on the road that runs past the west side of the stadium, a little way north of it. You can jump to reach it or park a vehicle under it and climb up.

Horseshoe #3: This one is tucked away between a wall and containers just west of the marker. You can jump to the wall from the house next to the nearby safehouse.

Head to the marker. Jump on the nearby bus shelter and over the wall. Go around the back into the factory.

Make your way into the factory killing everyone inside. When it's clear shoot the counterfeit chip machines to blow them up. More mobs will arrive, kill them then blow up more machines. Yet more mobs turn up in a car. Blow up the car by shooting at its gas tank.

Blow up the last of the machines then go outside, grab a car and drive back to the casino.

ARCHITECTURAL ESPIONAGE

This mission starts from Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas. Turn right as you enter the casino towards the dollar bill icon on the radar.

If you don't already have a camera you'll be instructed to kill a tourist to get one as you leave the casino.

Drive to the marker and enter the civic planning building.

Switch to just your fists, if you draw any weapon inside you'll get a wanted level.

Walk up to the receptionist. Reply positively to her questions so that she opens the door.

Go upstairs to the blueprints. A guard is in the way so you can't take a photo.

Head back down one floor and hit the air conditioning unit until it catches fire.

Head back up to the top floor and photograph the blueprints.

You now need to use your weapons. Make your way down the stairs killing numerous cops. Once you reach the bottom run out through the main door, grab a vehicle and get back to Woozie's casino before you're killed or busted.

Optional: Take a break from the main missions to grab a few more oysters and horseshoe.

KEY TO HER HEART

This mission starts from Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas. Turn right as you enter the casino towards the dollar bill icon on the radar.

Drive to the marker.

Follow the croupier as she heads home from work. Don't get too close or she'll get spooked and you fail the mission. Don't fall too far behind or you'll lose her.

Park up and go into the sex shop. Go to the marker at the back of the store. Walk into the changing room and stand in the gimp suit icon to wear it.

Go back outside. Get back in a car and follow the croupier again. Park in the red circle opposite her house.

Make sure the real gimp doesn't make it to the house. Kill him as soon as you see him heading towards the house.

Pick up the dildo and stand in the marker.

Millie is now your girlfriend and the gimp suit is delivered to your wardrobe.

You'll need to date Millie several times to get your progress up to about 50% before she'll give you the key card. However, you can save a lot of time by just killing her on the first date and stealing the keycard from her house.

Be at Millie's house between 2pm and 6pm to start a date.

Optional:

Horseshoe #5: Go north from Millie's place to the tennis courts. It's between a couple of courts on the east side.

Horseshoe #6: Go west from the tennis courts until you get to a swimming pool. The horseshoe is in the pool.

DAM AND BLAST

This mission starts from Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas. Turn right as you enter the casino towards the dollar bill icon on the radar.

Drive to the airport.

Optional:

Horseshoe #7: Once inside the gate at the airport go south. There's a horseshoe by the wall near the southern end of the airport building.

Horseshoe #8: Right by the plane you're about to board.

Horseshoe #9: Next to the fence in the northwest corner of the airport. Hard to spot if you're facing the fence.

Get in the airplane at the marker.

Fly to the next marker. You need to be at maximum altitude before you can jump, so fly around in circles while gaining height.

Follow the instructions to bail out once you fly through the corona.

Open your parachute as soon as possible. Point yourself towards the marker. As you approach you may need to pull back the analog stick/up arrow in order to land in the right place.

Once you land pick up the knife by the containers as use it to stealth kill the two guards outside. Head up the steps and into the marker.

Sneak around killing the five guards inside. Once they're all dead walk up to each generator and plant your charges on them.

Head to the exit.

Oysters #36-48: Get in the nearby boat and head south until you see a dinghy. Switch to the dinghy since it's smaller and faster. Use the Oyster Map to finish off all but the last two oysters, which we'll pick up during the finale missions.

COP WHEELS

This mission starts from Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas. Turn right as you enter the casino towards the dollar bill icon on the radar.

There are four green dots on the radar, you have 12 minutes to head to each one, steal the bike there and ride it onto the truck circling the highway.

Get the bike near the airport first.

Head to the bike at the hotel on the east side of town next. You have to shoot the cop off this one.

The third bike is parked by the police building.

The last bike is outside the V-Rock hotel. You'll need to shoot the cop off this one.

Drive to the first marker. Pick any car, despite the cutscene warning the gates will open for you as you get there to let an army vehicle out. Speed past the guards, head left to the warehouse and bail out before your car explodes.

Kill the soldiers who followed you from the gate, then go into the warehouse. Go left and sneak around the containers to carefully kill the soldiers around the warehouse. There are some soldiers openly patrolling the ground, some up in the rafters, and some behind various boxes. Kill them all.

There's health and body armor pickups to the right if you need them.

Clear your way to the other end of the warehouse and head outside. Beware of another soldier to the right as you go out.

BREAKING THE BANK AT CALIGULAS

Drive up to Caligula's Casino. Switch to just your fists to hide your weapons then enter.

Go to the far right of the casino to the employee swipe card door. Follow the instructions to open the door.

Go downstairs and into the back room. Switch weapons to the tear gas. Throw it into an open vent.

Head back out and go left. You can switch weapons to the night vision goggles if you wish but they don't seem to be necessary. Follow the hallway left.

Use the swipe card to open the door at end of the hallway then go through the next few rooms.

Run to the right and get in the forklift truck, then drive it back to the door and use the fork to force the door open.

Head back the way you came, but beware, you'll need to take out numerous guards along the way.

Pick up the satchel charges at the safe then head upstairs, kill the guards, then throw a satchel on each generator. Move back a safe distance and use your detonator to blow the generators.

Go back to the safe, pick up some body armor here if you need it. Kill the guards then head back upstairs, killing several more guards along the way.

Get to the rooftop via the elevator at the marker, killing yet more guards as you make your way there.

Go right, kill the guard coming for you, then head up the stairs. Watch out for another guard as you turn the corner. Climb the rest of the steps and go through the door onto the roof.

Ignore the SWAT helicopter and just climb and run across the rooftops. Grab the parachute at the end, use it to parachute to the ground. It doesn't seem to be possible to get to the helicopter.

Grab a car and drive to the marker at the airfield.
