You need to learn a 'special move' (fighting style) in each of three gyms throughout the game if you plan to get the 100% complete achievement, and to learn each style you need to attain a certain level of muscle from using the weights. Increasing your muscularity also has the added benefit of making your attacks stronger, making your fights quicker. Increased stamina from using the running machine is also useful to be able to sprint for longer.
You'll eventually max out on how much exercise you can do per day. Saving your game increases game time by six hours, so you can use this to your advantage and save four times to advance a full day of game time so you can continue training. You'll need to do two days of training before you can learn the first special move, but the good news is the other two gyms don't require any further training to learn from the instructors.

Angel Pine is an ideal place to do the Paramedic mission, since all patients are located within a relatively small area. If you do this mission in the main cities the patients are spread over a much wider area, so it becomes much trickier to beat the time limits and takes a lot longer to complete.
Head to the northwest end of Angel Pine to the Medical Center directly west of the safehouse. If there is no ambulance outside wander around the block and come back, one should have spawned by the time you return.
Get in the ambulance and follow the instructions to start the mission. The aim is to pick up all injured patients and get them back to the hospital within the time limit on each of 12 levels. You'll get a time extension as you pick up each patient and in later levels as you drop each load of patients off, but each level gets progressively harder as the patients get increasingly spaced out around the map, the number of patients increases and your patience decreases. This will take a while to complete, somewhere around 30 minutes in Angel Pine, but this is much less than the 90 minutes it typically takes in the big cities.
A general strategy for this mission would be to check your map at the start of each level and pick up the nearest patients first. From level four onwards head for the nearest three patients (your ambulance can carry a maximum of three patients). This will give you a decent time extension which you'll need to get the patients further away from the hospital. Return to the hospital and drive into the marker to drop the patients off. Once the patients get out you can run them over if they get in your way without any risk of failing the mission, and they will get in your way unless you reverse into the marker.
Other things to beware of on this mission:
1. Killing Patients. It's important to slow down as you approach each patient. They will start running towards you as you get close and if you accidentally run any of them over they'll die and you fail the mission instantly. Very frustrating...
2. Hitting cops. If you get a wanted level you run the risk of being pulled out of the ambulance and busted as you stop to pick up a patient. Very annoying...
3. Taking too much damage. The ambulance is a pretty sturdy vehicle, but over 12 levels it's going to take a beating, so try not to take too many knocks.
4. Toppling over. Try not to fling the ambulance around tight corners at full speed. The ambulance is quite tall, so its center of gravity means it can topple over if pushed too hard around corners, especially if you catch a ramp, curb or hill.
Once you've completed all 12 levels, as well as progress towards the 100% completion you are also rewarded with maximum health, which will come in useful for all future missions.

Completing Catalina's 'Tanker Commander' mission unlocks the Trucking Missions. You can do six of these after 'Tanker Commander' and another two once you open up access to Las Venturas later in the game. There aren't too many missions to do in the countryside, these Trucking missions pay increasingly well and you will need money when you get to San Fierro later on, so getting them out of the way during your countryside missions makes sense.
Trucking Mission 1: Goods must be delivered quickly to Blueberry, Central San Andreas.
This mission is timed so you'll need to get there relatively quickly. Get in the tanker and turn right. Turn right after the sign post. Follow this road and take the first left. Head up the triangle shaped road, making a right at the tip, then follow this road east.
Trucking Mission 2: Goods must be delivered without damage to Montgomery, East San Andreas.
This one's not timed, but you'll lose money every time the vehicle takes damage. Take as long as you wish to get there. Get in the tanker and turn right. Turn right after the sign post. Follow this road and take the first left, then follow that road north and turn right before the water. Stay on this road.
Trucking Mission 3: Illegal goods to Ocean Docks, Los Santos.
This one's not timed, but you'll have a three star wanted level the whole time. Take as long as you wish to get there. Get in the tanker and turn left. Cross the Flint Intersection into Los Santos. Follow the road right and get on the thick black road on the radar, then follow it all of the way along past the beach and then head East and work your way through the smaller streets. Heading to the South is impossible as the truck and trailer are too big to fit through the tunnel. Choose your own route through the streets and make your way to the South East of Los Santos and into the Dock area.
Trucking Mission 4: Goods must be delivered quickly to Whetstone, South San Andreas.
This one's timed so you'll need to get there relatively quickly. Get in the tanker and head left. Turn right before you cross the bridge to Los Santos. Follow this road until it turns around towards the North. Keep going until you reach the T-intersection and turn left, then follow the road around to the left and across the bridge.
Trucking Mission 5: Extremely fragile goods to Battery Point, San Fierro.
This one's not timed, but you'll lose money every time the vehicle takes damage. Take as long as you wish to get there. Get in the tanker and turn right. Follow the road past the right turn, then take the right turn at the intersection. Follow the road north and around the coastline until you reach the airport.
Trucking Mission 6: Illegal goods to Whetstone, South San Andreas.
This one's not timed, but you'll have a three star wanted level the whole time. Take as long as you wish to get there. Get in the tanker and turn left. Turn right before crossing the bridge to Los Santos. Follow this road until it turns around towards the North. Turn left at the T-intersection, then follow the road across the bridge.
Next: Body Harvest
Trucking Mission 7: Goods must be delivered quickly without damage to Bayside Marina, North West San Andreas.
This mission is timed, so you'll need to go relatively fast, but you also have a damage limit, so you need to drive carefully. Get in the tanker go right. Cross the bridge and turn right then follow this road north across the bridge and keep going north. Turn left at the Cluckin' Bell then right onto the freeway. Follow this to the Gant Bridge and down into Bayside, then down to the docks.
Trucking Mission 8: Highly illegal goods to Las Venturas.
This mission isn't timed, but you'll have a four star wanted level for the whole journey. The best way to do this is to slow down as the SWAT vans come at you, otherwise they slam into the coupling of your cab and trailer, causing you to jack-knife and fail the mission as the trailer disconnects. You'll constantly be slowing down and struggling to get speed back up, but this is the only way to overcome the SWAT vans. You could try driving along the train tracks to avoid the SWAT vans, but this is difficult, risky and slow as well.
Next: Cop Wheels
Completing the '555-We Tip' mission opens up the Valet Parking side mission. You need to be wearing the valet uniform you have in your wardrobe at any of your safehouses and go back to the hotel to start this mission.
Just as you did in the main story mission, you need to pick up the client's car before the other valet guys get it, take it down to the parking lot around the corner, park it in the marker and run back for the next car pickup.
The main difference here though is that the mission is timed. On level one you have two minutes to park three cars and each subsequent level you must park one more car, up to seven cars in level five, in the same two minute time limit. This may sound tough, but it's actually very easy as long as you don't damage the cars too much. You get a fairly generous time extension for each car parked. As long as this extension isn't reduced too much from damage done to the car or killing other valets you should end each level with more time left than you started with.
Once you've completed level five you're done and the building will generate cash over time for you to collect at your leisure.
Back to: Deconstruction
The Driving School near your garage in San Fierro is unlocked after completing the 'Deconstruction' mission.
You need to complete 12 different driving objectives with at least 70% (Bronze) on every objective in order to complete this overall side mission for your 100% complete stat.
You also need to complete all the objectives to unlock more main story missions, which you also need for your 100% complete stat, but these missions don't become available until you've also completed the 'Yay Ka Boom Boom' mission.
An overall Bronze, Silver or Gold rating unlocks the following special vehicles to be found in the parking lot outside the driving school:
Bronze unlocks the 'Super GT'.
Silver unlocks the 'Bullet'.
Gold unlocks the 'Hotknife'.
Some objectives are tougher than others and can take considerable time and effort, especially if you're aiming to get Golds.
We don't recommend going for Gold or Silver if you want to complete game as efficiently as possible. You only need overall Bronze to count towards your 100% complete stat and the other vehicles, while nice to have, are not necessary.
Use the Infernus' rear wheel drive to do a burnout donut.
Tactics:
Hold down X + Square (console users)/ S + W (PC users), then push left or right, letting the car spin around on the spot for 360º.
Getting Gold:
Try to stop in the exact same place you started. Stopping with about three seconds remaining should put you in the right spot.
Tactics:
Accelerate to top speed, then use your handbrake to do the 180 around the cone at the end and then return to the start.
Getting Gold:
As you start forward you'll need to go slightly left or right (depending on which way you prefer to turn at the end) to get enough room to clear the last cone safely.
Handbrake turn just as you pass the last cone.
As you speed back up towards the start, level up with the middle cone, then try to stop right in the middle of the cones at the end.
Powerslide around a tight corner and stop in the allocated area.
Tactics:
Speed ahead until just before the oil stain on the ground. Stop accelerating and powerslide, then accelerate again once you're around the corner and line yourself up with the middle of the cone square.
A tire will blow out half way to the end of the track. For extra control, release the accelerate button.
Tactics:
As soon as you pop stop accelerating and let the car veer to the side. Steer back over to position between the cones at the end. You'll almost run out of time just as you stop.
Do 5 laps as quickly as possible. Target time is under 40 seconds.
Tactics:
This is arguably the hardest objective. All 5 laps need to be executed perfectly without ever crashing or losing control.
When skidding around the corner use your handbrake and powerslide, which will keep you from spinning out, then accelerate as soon as you're around safely.
You need to keep attempting this until you get a perfect run. It took us some time to achieve even a bronze rating, so we wouldn't advise spending too long trying for silver or gold unless you're an exceptionally patient perfectionist!
Getting Gold:
For gold you'll need to finish in under 36 seconds, which is really only possible if you cheat. Knocking over cones doesn't give a damage penalty, but smashing them does. If you're careful you can knock the end cones slightly inwards as you skid around them, which actually makes the course a tiny bit smaller. You'll still have to skid at exactly the right time to turn as sharply as possible, but overturned cones can take about half a second off each lap.
Weave through the cones quickly and return to the start position.
Tactics:
Turn slightly left and right to weave carefully through the cones. Do a 180 around the cone at the end and then weave back to the start line where you'll need to stop in the middle of the square.
Try to keep your cornering sharp and just barely miss the cones to save time.
Skid the car sideways into the parking space within five seconds.
Tactics:
Speed right (or left if you prefer) towards the center of the car to the side. Stop accelerating just as you get to the oil stains on the ground, then use your handbrake and turn to skid the car into the gap.
You just have to keep practicing this to get the hang of it really. Varying the angle of your approach until you get closer and closer can make this a bit easier to perfect.
Keep the car on two wheels until the end of the track.
Tactics:
Keep tapping the accelerate button instead of accelerating continuously once you're on two wheels. This will make balancing and levelling out easier. You'll be lucky to get the car to land facing perfectly straight, but it doesn't matter too much.
Practice hitting the ramp at the right place to carry all the way to the marker then use the handbrake to stop.
Use your front wheel drive to reverse then quickly spin 180 degrees.
Tactics:
Look behind you as you reverse if it helps (Hold down L2/Q and R2/E together), but we found it easier to reverse without it.
When you reach the oil stains hold left or right, let the car spin 180º.
Once you've straightened out just drive the few meters forward and handbrake to stop in the middle of the cones.
Perform a P.I.T. Maneuver to spin the other car around with minimum damage. Finish as close to the other car as possible.
Tactics:
Turn a little and catch up to the side of the other car, then just as the front of your car gets level with his back tire, turn to hit the tail of the vehicle. If done correctly the other car will spin around in front of you and you'll need to use your car to keep his car spinning too far around by turning into it.
Once its spun 180 degrees you'll need to try to stop with the front of your car touching the back of his.
Do a barrel roll in mid air and land it perfectly. While in the air, release the accelerate button and move the left analog stick(console)/arrow keys(PC) to adjust the car's pitch.
Tactics:
Turn a little left or right and speed towards the ramp, get both left or right wheels off the side of the ramp and stop accelerating as soon as you're in the air.
Roll the car in the direction you're spinning (so press right if you hit the right side of the ramp) and try to land in the same position you started.
It doesn't matter how far you go, just that you actually land straight. Any damage done to the car on landing will reducing your rating.
Drive to the other side of San Fierro and back without damaging the car. The target time is under 120 seconds.
Tactics:
Turn right at the start and follow the road past your garage. Stay in the middle of the tram tracks and keep going flat out until you get to the top of the steep hill. Turn right at the top of the hill by the church, cut the corner then head down the slope and go left. Brake fairly hard here and go down to the checkpoint. Turn right here and speed up along the relatively gentle turns in this road under the bridges and towards the docks. Cut across the grass just past the gas station and back onto the road. Follow the road into the tunnel and all the way back up to the main road. Get back on the tram lines and speed along past the garage again and into the finish line.
Getting Gold:
You need to finish in under 100 seconds and no take no damage. You'd probably need to get lucky with the traffic and avoid any collisions, but since there's little point going for gold given that some of the other objectives are so hard, we don't recommend you spend too much time on this unless you're keen on getting individual golds.
Next: Jizzy
You need to complete 10 levels of the Pimping side mission to count towards your 100% complete stat. Get in the pimpmobile and follow the instructions to pick up a ho, drop her off with a client, pick up the next, drop her off, etc...
Next: Mountain Cloud Boys
In the dry-dock next to the 'Import/Export' crane is a motorbike parked up by the crates at the back of the covered area. Get on the bike to start the mission.
We found this mission exceptionally difficult, perhaps the hardest mission in the entire game. It certainly helps to have maximum bike skill, so we suggest having practice sessions of this mission after each vehicle you drop off for 'Import/Export' (covered below) and then using the bike to head out for each new vehicle for 'Import/Export' to build up bike skill.
The aim is to ride through all of the coronas around the dock. You start off with just 10 seconds on the clock, but this is extended by 10 seconds for every corona you ride through. This doesn't leave a lot of time to spare, especially initially, so run around picking off the easiest ones first to build up some time for the harder ones. Generally the toughest ones are at the top of the 'bowl' under the roof. You need a fair amount of run-up to get enough height to grab these as you fly up over the edge of the bowl. Tapping forwards on the right analog stick/up arrow key helps to get some extra speed up.
This 'starts' (or rather finishes since you just drop off vehicles) at the crane in the Easter Bay Docks where you finish the 'Customs Fast Track' mission.
You need to find, steal and return ten vehicles on three different lists for a total of thirty different vehicles to complete the overall mission.
Some vehicles can be found more easily than others, some are rare and only found at certain places and they are all over the map. You'll do an enormous amount of travelling on this mission, but the pay for each drop off is very good, you'll have more money than you will ever need by the end of the third list.
You get less money the more damage is done to the vehicle on its return. You could stop off at the nearby Pay N Spray to repair each vehicle before you turn it in, but frankly you get so much money overall that the extra time it takes to go to the Pay N Spray every time just isn't worth the effort.
Take care driving back with each vehicle, particularly on the longer journeys and especially through the tight turns and waterside roads in the countryside. Nothing is more frustrating than spending several minutes driving back just to get rammed off the road by another vehicle that changes lane instantly without warning, causing you to crash uncontrollably over cliffs, into water, or just trashes the car. Save your game at a safehouse with a garage on the way back if it helps lessen the chance of losing the vehicle on long journeys.
We list locations and descriptions for each vehicle below. They are in order of difficulty/distance rather than the order in which they are shown on the board, so hopefully you won't lose motivation finding them all. Happy hunting!!
If you don't find a vehicle at the location described below don't despair. They spawn eventually, just drive around the block and come back a little later, sometimes they don't appear until certain times of day. Similarly if you find the car but it's locked, run around the block and come back until it unlocks.
For the vehicles furthest away in Las Venturas and Los Santos you can save some time by taking the train near your garage to the nearest station to the vehicle. You can skip immediately to the next station once the train starts moving. You can end up waiting quite a while for a train to turn up though, so you may decide you prefer to just drive all the way there and back.
You're finally done with all of the exports. You can import any of the vehicles you've exported plus a few others, but it's fairly pointless. Walk up to the list board to learn more if you're interested.
If you've done the Import/Export missions you should now have more than enough money to buy all of the safehouses in San Fierro.
Make sure to save your game before starting this one. If your car explodes you'll get wasted and lose all your ammo.
Head south to the stadium. It's shown with an icon on the radar. Step into the marker outside the entrance to start the mission.
You're competing with numerous other vehicles to drive around the bowl and be the first to get to the checkpoints. Every checkpoint you get will increase your timer by 15 seconds. You'll start with 30 seconds and you need to increase this to 60 to win. If you're really lucky you can do this by grabbing three or four checkpoints in a row, but in reality this is unlikely since there are so many other cars competing. With a little luck, skill and practice you'll get enough checkpoints to win though.
If your car gets hit too much it will explode and you'll fail, but there are pickups around the bowl you can drive into to repair all damage. If you're careful you should avoid enough cars to never need to do this however.
Each city has a Courier mission. In San Fierro it's at the Hippy Shopper store in Hashbury where you take one of the Snapshots.
Get on the motorbike outside the store to start the mission.
Ride to each marker where you'll find a corona. Follow the on-screen instructions to throw a package into the corona.
You need to complete four levels of deliveries before your time runs out.
There's a firetruck at the fire station next to your garage in Doherty, but two different types spawn there, one with a ladder on top, the other with a water cannon. You can't use the ladder type for this mission, so you may need to try a little trick to get the right type to appear. If you approach the station from the south or east you tend to get the ladder type. If you approach the station from the north and go around to the back wall on the west side, you are more likely to get the water cannon type.
Once you have the water cannon firetruck follow the on-screen instructions to start the mission.
Check your map regularly to plan the quickest route to the fires. Hose down the car and the people that get out of the car. Avoid getting a wanted level at all costs. The time limit is quite short at first, but you'll get a time extension for each fire you put out. Once you get past the first few levels you should have enough time extensions to make things much easier.
One trick to make hosing down people easier is to approach the burning car from the side. If your cannon is hosing into the side of the car it'll hose the person that gets out that side without knocking them away from you. You may still have trouble hosing people that get out of the other side, but at least you save a little time this way. Similarly beware of hosing people towards cliff edges. If anyone goes over a cliff you won't be able to get to them before time runs out. Try to drive around them to hose them towards a wall or some other obstacle that keeps them from running into problem areas.
Once you've completed all 12 levels, as well as progress towards the 100% completion you become completely fireproof, which will come in useful for future missions, especially the finale.
Next: Monster
Work your way across the desert areas buying the safehouses then head over to the Boat School.
You need to complete five different boating objectives with at least 70% (Bronze) for each in order to complete this side mission for your 100% complete stat.
An overall Bronze, Silver or Gold rating unlocks the following boats to be found in the marina next to the boat school:
Bronze unlocks the 'Marquis'.
Silver unlocks the 'Squalo'.
Gold unlocks the 'Jetmax'.
All objectives are simple enough to get golds for fairly quickly, but don't waste too much time if you're having any trouble, you only need bronze overall to count towards your 100% complete stat.
Guide the boat straight ahead and stop within the finish area within 12 seconds.
Tactics:
Accelerate forwards, then hit the reverse thrust to come to a halt.
Getting Gold:
You need to finish in under 9.7 seconds. PC users will need to change their video settings in the options menu to turn off the Frame Limiter in the advanced graphics settings for this. If you start reverse thrusting just before 7 seconds on the timer you should stop just in time.
Navigate through each pair of buoys.
Tactics:
Drive through all the buoys which will be to your right every time. You can hold R1/Space to turn more sharply if you want, but it's not really necessary, just stay to the inside of the buoys then even out so you're always heading straight for the next pair. The last two need a fairly sharp turn though.
Getting Gold:
You need a finish time of less than 30 seconds. As long as you don't hit any buoys or any other obstacles this is fairly easy to achieve.
Navigate through the center of each pair of buoys in as quick a time as possible.
Tactics:
Same the previous objective but in a dinghy this time. The first few buoys can be done as before, but about halfway through you'll need to start using R1/Space sharp turns to save time.
Getting Gold:
Get a finish time of less than 80 seconds.
Power towards the jump ramp and land within the parallel buoys to register a valid jump.
Tactics:
Head slightly right from the start line. Turn back towards the marker on your radar once it gets to roughly the 10 o'clock position.
Holding the left analog stick forward slightly/tapping the Up arrow key works like being on a bike and gives you a slight speed boost. Do this as you drive into the ramp, then hold down on the analog stick/Down arrow key to jump further.
You need 55 meters or more for Bronze.
Getting Gold:
You need 69 meters or more for Gold.
Navigate through the center of each pair of buoys in as quick a time as possible.
Tactics:
The buoys snake around all over the place, so keep an eye on the radar so you know where you're going next. Remember to use R1/Space to turn sharply, keep to the inside of the buoys and start turning just before you get to each set of buoys.
Getting Gold:
Finish in under 130 seconds. This is quite tough initially, but once you get to know the course and follow the above tactics it's quite possible.
Optional: Since you now have access to boats go grab one and pickup Oysters 4-25
Next: Learning to Fly
You need to complete ten different flying objectives with at least 70% (Bronze) for each in order to complete this side mission for your 100% complete stat.
Many of the objectives are quite hard to get gold for, so we don't recommend you waste too much time trying, you only need bronze overall to count towards your 100% complete stat and to open up the rest of Toreno's missions.
Accelerate along the runway. Once the plane's tail begins to rise pull back on the left analog stick/press the Down arrow key to take off. Press R3/'2' to raise the landing gear.
Fly into the first corona and slowly adjust your direction to fly through the second corona, then again adjust direction for the third and final corona to complete the test.
Press R3/'2' to lower your landing gear then move down through the corona. Press and hold 'Square'/'X' to decelerate and don't touch ground until you've slowed down considerably. Try to land before the red marker so you can easily drive into it and stop.
Choose whether you prefer to fly clockwise or anti-clockwise, it really makes no difference.
Use the skills you learned in the first objective to take off.
Don't fly in straight lines towards each corona, it makes turning much harder, instead fly in a large circular sweep. Each corona will always be in the same direction, so just keep turning gently that way the whole time and with practice you'll find steering into each corona much easier.
Repeat the steps you learned from the second and third objectives.
Press and hold 'X'/'W' to gain height. Stop when instructed to level off.
Rotate the helicopter 180 degrees by holding L2 or R2/'Q' or 'E'.
Push the left analog stick forward slightly/press the Up arrow key to point the nose down 45 degrees. Fly towards the marker on the radar. Use the 'Square'and 'X'/'S' and 'W' buttons to maintain a good speed and height. Fly through the corona to finish.
Repeat the steps from the previous objective to fly towards the marker. Pull the left analog stick back/press the Down arrow key and press 'Square'/'S' as you approach to slow down.
Land in the middle of the marker.
Use the skills you learned previously to fly towards the vehicles at the end of the runway. Tap 'Square'/'S' as you approach the targets and begin firing rockets. Fire as quickly as you can for the best chance of destroying all three.
Turn 180 degrees and fly towards the next set of vehicles. Slow down as you approach and begin firing as quickly as you can. Destroy both targets then head back to the airstrip.
Land in the middle of the marker.
Hold 'X'/'W' to maintain height and speed. As soon as you fly through the corona pull back on the left analog stick/press the Down arrow key to perform a loop. Push forward on the left analog stick/press the Up arrow key just before you level off and go through the second corona.
Hold 'X'/'W' to main height and speed. As soon as you fly through the corona push the analog stick left/press the left arrow key to perform a barrel roll. Level off and pass through the second corona.
Freefall for about ten seconds then push the left analog stick forward/up arrow key to accelerate. Release the parachute as soon as the message to do so appears. Pull back on the left analog stick/Down arrow key to move forward rapidly.
Time it so that you land in the middle of the red marker.
Next: N.O.E
These are accessed at the marker behind the Wang Car showroom, next to the Pay and Spray.
It's generally not worth going into long descriptions of each race, since none of them are really that hard once you get to know the route, which you can only do with practice anyway.
Grab a vehicle and make your way over to Las Venturas and do a quick circuit of the city buying up all the safehouses.
Next: Fender Ketchup
The Quarry side missions are unlocked after completing the 'Explosive Situation' mission. You can start them at the bulldozer icon west of Las Venturas.
Mission 1: Push seven rocks into the markers within the time limit.
Jump in the bulldozer, drive to the nearest rock, push it over the side towards the marker. Head down to the next nearest rock and push that over the side. Keep going in the same general direction and work your way around the quarry clearing all rocks. You can save a bit of time by driving off the edges if your next rock is below you, the Dozer generally rolls back onto its wheels quite well even if you land upside down.
Mission 2: Push four bomb barrels into the markers within the time limit.
The first bomb is behind the hut where the mission starts. The second at the crane down the hill, push it up the slopes into the red circle. The third is at the bottom of the quarry, the fourth is nearby between the crushers. Get the Dozer to a safe distance quickly after the fourth barrel before it blows up.
Mission 3: Chase and destroy the bombers' dumper within the time limit.
Drive your dumper around the outside of the quarry to chase after the red blip on the radar. Drive-by the truck, smash into it or even just knock it into the water as it drives through Tierra Robada. Drive-by seems by far the quickest and easiest option.
Mission 4: Dispose of the bodies within the time limit.
Ride the Sanchez around the quarry to the marker at the other side.
Get in the Dumper and drive to the quarry entrance. Be careful not to crash the Dumper, the bodies in the back can easily fall out.
Follow the path down to the marker and reverse up to the fire. Pull back on the right analog stick/down arrow key to tip out the bodies onto the fire.
Mission 5: Dump the explosives at the desert airstrip within the time limit.
Drive carefully, even 'soft' crashes will eventually cause an explosion. Choose your preferred route to the desert airstrip, there is no best route, just bear in mind you have a time limit to get there. We chose the road that runs up along the eastern edge of the airstrip and cut across carefully.
Mission 6: Clear the explosive barrels off the train tracks within the time limit.
Make your way to the train tracks then drive along pushing the barrels off to the side. Remove them all before the time runs out.
Mission 7: Get rid of the body and bike within the time limit.
Use the Sanchez to jump to the bottom of the quarry.
Use the Dozer to push the body and bike to the crane.
Get back on the Sanchez and drive up the hill to the crane. Stand in the red circle to get in the crane.
Follow the instructions to pick up the body and bike and drop them into the dumper.
Get into the dumper and drive to the quarry entrance. Carefully make your way up the hill through the gates, the body and bike can easily fall out if you're not careful.
Head to the marker and reverse up to the water. Dump the body and bike into the water, but be careful the dumper doesn't fall in after them, it tends to roll back when the trailer is raised.
Next: You've Had Your Chips
Head to any Ammunation store and step into the shooting range marker inside.
You will compete against two other competitors over three rounds in a race to score the most hits.
Round One: The winner is the first to shoot out 3 targets (each target has 7 spots to hit) at varying distances.
Round Two: Moving targets. Again a race to shoot them all first.
Round Three: A moving target that everyone is shooting at. The winner is the one scoring most hits.
The same three rounds are conducted with four different weapons; Pistol, Micro SMG, Shotgun and AK-47.
Once you've won all three rounds for all four weapons you complete the challenge.

The Bike School is just south of the stadium in West Las Venturas.
You need to complete 6 different objectives with at least 70% (Bronze) on every objective in order to complete this overall side mission.
Completing all of the objectives with at least Bronze will unlock the following bikes outside the school:
Bronze unlocks the Freeway.
Silver unlocks the FCR-900.
Gold unlocks the NRG-500.
Getting gold for a couple of objectives is tricky, but since there's no real benefit other than getting the NRG-500, we don't recommend wasting any time trying for better than overall Bronze.
Description:
Use the bike to do a burnout donut.
Tactics:
Hold down X and Square/W and S, then turn left or right and wait as the bike spins around. Use the skidmarks on the ground as a reference to stop as close to 360º as possible.
Description:
To do a 180, accelerate to top speed, press R1/Space to slide around the cone and then return.
Tactics:
Use your handbrake to skid around the last cone and make your way back to park in the middle of the cone square.
Description:
Jump the ramp and stop in the designated area.
Tactics:
Drive straight to the ramp, balance out in mid-air, land and stop in the square cone area.
Description:
Pull a wheelie as you speed through the coned area.
Tactics:
Drive towards the coned area, pull back on the analog stick/press the down arrow key, then tap X/W as you make your way along. Stop in the cone square at the end.
Description:
Do a stoppie along the coned section. Accelerate to top speed, push forward on the left analog stick/Up arrow key, then press square/S.
Tactics:
Holding a stoppie for long and straight enough can be quite tricky. You need to speed towards the coned area then hold square/S and up/up arrow key while you move into a stoppie, then hold X/W and keep the stoppie going until you pass the last cone. Stop in the cone square in the middle.
Description:
Jump the ramp, land in a stoppie and glide into the designated area.
Tactics:
The last and hardest objective. Hold up lightly and speed over the ramp. By the time you stop you'll hopefully be in the zone. For gold you need to get the stoppie to work properly. The best way to land it is to pull back on the analog stick/up arrow key, but if you pull the jump correctly you can actually just land on the front wheel and stop in about a second in the correct place.
Next: Intensive Care
Dirt Track can be found at the stadium in Las Venturas on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Finish in first place in this motorbike race.
There are a lot of other bikers in this race, but many will crash after the hill a few corners from the start line, so be prepared to avoid crashing into them and gain an early lead here.
The rest of the course is just a case of easing off the accelerator on the turns and keeping to the inside of the track. About three quarters of the way around the lap the track splits left and right, you want to go left here. The next turn after this is a tight one, you'll need to brake for it or you'll slam into the barriers. The next two corners also needs brake turns, especially the second one, which is a hairpin, you might want to use your handbrake for this one. After the next turn you head back to the start start/finish line.
You need to make good lap times of roughly 55-57 seconds and not spin out or crash. Always make sure you don't hit the barriers or you'll add a lot of time to your laps. Ease off the accelerator, brake or handbrake turn the corners.
The better bike skill you have the easier this race will be, since you'll have less chance of falling from your bike.
Kickstart can be found at the stadium in Las Venturas whenever Dirt Track isn't on, so on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Score over 25 points within the time limit by completing obstacle challenges.
A score of 45 or more is possible, but some obstacles are harder than others. Grabbing the easiest green coronas will earn you 1 point, the medium dificulty amber ones will give you 2 points and the hard red ones will add 3 points.
Go immediately left from the start and drive up the wooden ramp and grab the red corona. Drop down from there and go straight ahead and over the two strange obstacles to pick up two orange coronas. Before dropping down at the end of the second one, make a right and go up the next obstacle. Grab the amber one up here, then go down and grab a red corona. Head up the ramp at the other side and drop the front wheel off the edge to grab the next red corona, then reverse back on and turn around, dropping down the last ramp to pick up yet another red corona. Make your way to the top left corner of the room where there's a few easy ramps to a green corona and onto a red one. This should give you 22 points and enough time to pick a few easy greens to push past 25.

In Las Venturas the courier challenge is outside the Central Burger Shot. Make your way to the Burger Icon on the radar in the center of Las Venturas. Go around the building until you find a parked Faggio bike. Get on the Faggio and follow the instructions.
Ride around the map to find the large floating coronas. Throw a package into the corona, move onto the next one.
You need to get through four levels of deliveries before your time runs out.
Next: Freefall
Go right just after you enter the Las Venturas Airport gates and stand in the marker to start these missions. However, make sure you save your game before each mission, many of them are quite tricky and you can get wasted very easily.
As with all of the race missions the hard part is getting to know the course. This is especially true of the airplane races, once you know the route you can plan your approach to each corona to best line yourself up for the next one. You don't have any other racers to get in your way, the only thing that can fail you is crashing into ground obstacles, so once you've learned the route there's little else to worry about.
This is quite a long and complex course, but once you get to know the route it's fairly straightforward.
This is an even longer and more complex course than the previous one, but as before, once you get to know the route it's not so bad.
Something a bit different this time. The Hydra can hover using its vertical thrust, or turn the thrust back so it flies like a normal plane, so it's actually half-way between an airplane and helicopter, hence the Hydra name we guess.
Use your right analog/Num-8 + Num-2 keys to alter the thrust to the point you're comfortable with; Somewhere between vertical and full rear thrust will give you an easier time navigating the turns while still providing enough thrust to fly forward.
Once again this mission is mostly a case of learning the route to get round it efficiently without crashing.
On to the first of three helicopter missions now. Helicopters are much easier to control, you should quite easily be able to complete this one as long as you don't fly recklessly.
Another fairly straightforward helicopter course, although there's more tall buildings to navigate around.
The last mission. The Hunter helicopter is rather deceptive, it feels quite sluggish to handle, but actually has very powerful acceleration; You can easily crash into things if you're not careful. Play safe and make numerous small changes of direction rather than long, heavy pushes forward which are harder to control.
There are many tricky checkpoints on this course, most are between buildings, some even underneath flyover roads. You'll need to be very careful navigating around without hitting things too much.
There are a few different police vehicles in which you can do the Vigilante missions, such as the standard police car, motorbike, Rancher and SWAT van, but by far the easiest option is the Hunter police helicopter, which you can get from the race board at Las Venturas Airport. Just start the 'Heli Hell' mission and instead of actually doing the mission, fly the helicopter to the abandoned airstrip and land in the hangar opposite the safehouse. Unfortunately you can't save your game yet, since you're technically still in the race mission. As soon as your countdown for 'abandoning the race' expires you are placed back at the race board at Las Venturas Airport again. Make your way back to the abandoned airstrip, now you can save your game.
Get in the helicopter, carefully fly it out of the hangar then start the mission. Follow the instructions to destroy the fleeing criminals' vehicles within the time limit.
The advantage of doing this mission in the helicopter, apart from not having to worry about navigating the roads and avoiding cop cars chasing you, is that blowing up the vehicle also instantly kills the criminals inside. If you do this mission in any of the other vehicles you have to chase down and kill the criminals as they flee from their burning vehicle before it explodes and as you progress through the levels your wanted level increases and it becomes increasingly difficult to avoid getting busted or wasted.
Next: Misappropriation
These can be found at the checkered flag icon on the map, just west of Woozie's Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas.
As with most of the race missions the only real hard part is learning the course. Once you know the route you can much more easily navigate to get into first position. For this reason we don't go into specifics about each course, we don't think it will really help you.
Head to any train station and wait for a train to pull in. Unfortunately this can take a while, there doesn't seem to be any schedule for trains, it just seems completely random when they turn up.
Get in the front of the train and follow the instructions to start the mission.
You need to get to each station within the time limit. Accelerate out of the station and keep your speed up, but not too fast or you'll de-rail. You can safely run the train around most turns at 40. Slow down to 35 for the sharper turns. Don't go above 45 on straights, the train starts to shudder on the tracks at this speed.
Start to slow down as you get to within 300 distance. You can probably stop braking at 10 and let the train pull in a bit so you can brake the last 10 to stop just as the train gets to zero.
Once you've stopped at a station you've delivered one freight package, now speed up for the next station. Repeat this for a complete lap of the map until you return to the station you started at. You've now done Level One, all you need to do now is repeat the whole thing again to complete Level Two.
Next: A Home In The Hills
The Los Santos courier challenge is outside Roboi's Food Mart in Commerce, Southwest Los Santos. Look for the winding road going through a grassy area on the map. Just north of this is a small square. The entrance to the mart is on the north side of this square.
Get on the BMX to start the mission. You must deliver to the coronas as with the LV and SF courier missions. Drive to the markers and throw the package into the coronas. Once they're all done return to Roboi's for the next levels.
These can be found at the checkered flag icon on the map, east of Roboi's Mart in Los Santos.
As with most of the race missions the only real hard part is learning the course. Once you know the route you can much more easily navigate to get into first position. For this reason we don't go into specifics about each course, we don't think it will really help you.
Next: Vertical Bird
Make your way around Los Santos and the Countryside buying up any remaining safehouses. Plan your route to finish up as close to Angel Pine as possible.
Save your game before each of these missions, there's nothing more frustrating than realising you forgot to save when you fail a mission, especially these tricky races. You may need to save more than once, since the Chiliad Challenges are only available between 7am and 6pm. Also bear in mind it takes roughly an hour in game time to get up to the top of the mountain.
Go to the base of Mount Chiliad just northwest of Angel Pine and grab the motorbike parked by the cabin by the finish line area. Ride up to the top of the mountain.
Get on the bicycle at the top of the mountain to start the challenges.
Race to the bottom of the mountain. Finish in first place to pass the mission.
This route is relatively straightforward, it's just back and forth along the track all the way to the bottom.
Handbrake turn on the corners and try to not hit the fences. Use both handbrake and brake to slow down for sharp corners. You can actually cut quite a lot of corners and still grab the checkpoints. As well as saving time this is also a good way to overtake your competitors.
Keep tapping the X/W button when you're going straight to get up to maximum speed.
As you get near the bottom of the mountain be careful not to fall off the side.
To win you need to finish without crashing or falling off the mountain. If you don't win you'll need to drive all the way back up the mountain to start again. You may want to reload your game if you don't think you'd make it to the top before 6pm.
This race starts in the same place as the previous one, but goes off to the right after a few corners. This route is trickier, with more difficult winding roads, but eventually meets up with the bottom road from the first race.
This final route is by far the hardest and fastest.
Despite being so hard you have the advantage that your competitors will regularly crash in numerous places. This gives you time to take things relatively slowly and carefully. All you need to do is keep an average speed and carefully follow the track through the checkpoints.
Once you're off the wooden ramps things get a little easier, you can speed down the path towards the final straight to the finish.
You can jump over the hills on the middle section and gain a lot of time as you can grab three checkpoints in one jump, rather than spend 15 seconds weaving down the track to get them.
Next: Home Coming
The BMX Challenge can be found in the skate/bike park just south of Glen Park. Get on the BMX at the top of the hill next to the half pipe to start the mission.
Collect all of the checkpoints within the time limit. Each checkpoint will add 10 seconds to your time.
This mission really does require almost maximum Cycling Skill to complete since you'll need to bunny hop quite high to grab some of the checkpoints. If you've followed our guide in order you should have at least two-thirds Cycling Skill by now, so a little more practice here should be enough, otherwise you might want to consider doing the Los Santos Courier Challenge and Chiliad Challenge to raise your skill before trying this.
From the start head down the hill slightly to the right and grab the two checkpoints there, bunny hop under the first one on the left. Now go around the outside of the bowl and grab the checkpoints there, then when you reach the half pipe part of the bowl, jump in and start collecting the easy checkpoints in there. Jump up the sides in order to grab the floating ones, and make your way back around to the lower wooden half pipe. Again jump from the side and grab any checkpoints in the air, then head back up the hill to where you started and grab any checkpoints left over there. At this point you should have the 5 following trickier checkpoints left:
- 2 x higher wooden half pipe checkpoint
- The stone half pipe in the bowl
- South of the lower wooden half pipe
- The lower wooden half pipe checkpoint
The two higher wooden checkpoint ones are relatively easy, just get on the half pipe and tap X/W to get enough speed to get to the top of the pipe. You'll most likely grab the checkpoint as you fly up, then go and do the same for the other side.
Next head to the stone half pipe in the bowl. The best way to do this is to speed up one side of the half pipe, then bunny hop while going up. This will push you backwards, and if done correctly you'll fly through the checkpoint.
Next up is the higher one near the lower half pipe. All you need to do is stand right under it, and keep tapping to bunny hop. For some reason this will eventually result in a "Super Bunny Hop". You'll go two or three times higher, enough to grab this checkpoint.
The final checkpoint is by far the hardest. Get into the half pipe and speed up the east ramp as fast as possible. The only way this is possible is if you just keep going back and forth up and down both sides of the half pipe, then lean forward in the air to try and push yourself onto the ledge. You'll really need a bit of luck, but once you get the hang of it and get up, it's mission complete!
Next: Grove 4 Life
Get in any taxi cab and follow the instructions to pick up and drop off passengers.
You need to successfully drop off a total of 50 passengers to count towards the 100% complete stat. Thankfully this doesn't have to be done all in one go, you can do as few at a time as you wish, they all count cumulatively towards the overall total.
It's worth noting that you may want to complete this before the 'Riot' mission or after the final mission, as between these missions the streets are a lot more dangerous, with cars regularly exploding, people throwing molotovs, pulling you out of your car etc...
Next: Riot
8-Track can be found at the stadium in East Beach, Los Santos, directly east of Grove Street.
You are racing 12 other vehicles over 12 laps. Finish in first place to win.
Your car will spin out of control with the slightest impact, so take care.
Getting a good start to this race is probably the most important thing. Move over to the dirt on the left from the start. Go around the corner, cross over to the right and keep on the outside of the track. You should have been able to overtake 4-5 cars by this point. Take the left turn, across the bridge and keep to the right on the dirt. From here follow the road around carefully and relatively slowly, carefully braking for turns. If a car comes up behind you, or next to you let them pass. It's not worth risking being hit. If you crash on the first few laps it's worth getting out of the car and waiting to start again.
As you approach the start/finish line prepare to overtake, this is the only really easy part of the track to gain positions.
Once you're in first place you can take it relatively easy. Maintain your speed to stay ahead of the pack, but be more careful braking for corners.
Next: Los Desperados
The next and final mission will only unlock once you control at least 35% of gang territory in Los Santos, so you need to work your way around Los Santos provoking gang wars until you have taken over enough territories. You can check your current percentage in the 'Stats - Gang' section of the menus, but Smoke will call as soon as you've got 35% to let you know the final mission is available.
